Project Meeting in Helsinki, Finland in April 2023
In the beginning of April 2023, all the StartPoint partners met in Helsinki, Finland for the 3rd Transnational Project Meeting. The Finnish partner Learning for Integration ry hosted the meeting on the premises of Hotel Arthur in central Helsinki. In the meeting, the partners discussed and evaluated the LTTA that took place in March in Slovenia and reviewed the pending tasks and future activities that that should be organised in each project country. The Citizenship Learning Toolkit and the Community Learning Programme were finished and translated into all the partner languages, and the partners also discussed how to organise the community participation projects that each partner should implement within their own communities.
After the meeting hours, the partners visited the Helsinki Central Library Oodi, a new library and community space renowned for its modern design, where people can get together and study or rent a meeting room for private functions, record music, print posters or create videos. All the spaces are free of charge and free for everyone to access.
During the two meeting days, the partners also attended a dissemination event for Erasmus+ projects and enjoyed together a lovely Finnish meal in the traditional countryside-themed Finnish restaurant Zetor – to try out some reindeer stew and other Finnish delicacies!
